I mean, of course I already knew this, but I discovered another reason yesterday...
When he came in the door, dripping wet, carrying 65 loads of laundry, and I thanked him for doing the laundry once again, I realized:
I have not done a load of laundry since we got married.

If you could just send Matthew over and have him give Ernie a few pointers, that would be great. Yes, Ernie can do wash, but not shrinking it.... well that's another story.
